Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with game designers to implement new game features
  • Implementation of challenging technical and complex frontend projects
  • Optimization for mobile end devices and responsive design
  • Close collaboration with the UX department and interface designers
  • Supporting the development teams within frontend development

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with game designers and frontend programmers to implement new game features
  • Implement the server-side of new game features using PHP or ASP.Net in combination with MySQL
  • Work on the backend architecture of our game servers and on the general technical framework to support games
  • Design, implement and maintain data persistency layouts and caching systems using MySQL, memcached and/or Redis
  • Identify and solve game production problems

Requirements:

  • Good PHP and/or C# programming and object-oriented design skills
  • Very good knowledge about the functionality as well as languages of relational as well as NoSQL databases
  • High standard of craftsmanship, self-initiative and self-reliance

As Technical Artists you are familiar with UE4 / Unity and know how to work with the tools the engine provides. Your main tasks will include

  • The integration of assets, particle effects and materials
  • The set up and the lighting of the scene
  • The creation of scripts an shaders to achieve the best visuals and performance
  • the creation of Cutscenes within the game
  • working closely with artists, programmers and game designers

Requirements

  • knowledge of how shaders and materials work and ability to create your own
  • knowledge of how rendering in an engine works (what are draw calls, texture memory, etc.) for optimization
  • a great artistic skill set, extensive knowledge of color and lighting and how to achieve the best visual style
  • familiarity with Photoshop
  • basic knowledge in 3D modeling and the willingness to learn new software such as substance designer
  • Fluently written and spoken English

As Level Designer you are familiar with UE4 / Unity and know how to work with the tools the engine provides. Your main tasks will include

  • The creation of levels, asset placement and beautification of levels
  • To maintain the established art style and to transfer it to the level design
  • The creation of basic scripts (e.g. Door opens, something moving from A/B)
  • The creation of object templates (e.g. create compound object with multiple, random placed meshes etc.)
  • The creation of cutscenes within the game
  • The creation of (smaller, environmental) assets
  • working closely with artists, programmers and game designers
